A mesmerizing union of haute horlogerie and mythic artistry, the Astronomia Art Dragon in rose gold is a three-dimensional spectacle encased under a towering sapphire crystal dome. It transforms the wrist into a stage for an 18K rose-gold dragon, meticulously hand-sculpted, engraved, and colored with ruby-red eyes—truly breathing life into a classical symbol of strength and fortune.

Masterful Mechanics

1.  Movement:  At its core is the manual-winding JCAM25 calibre (also referenced as JCAM47 in some variants), composed of roughly 384 components, featuring 42 jewels, running at 21,600 vph, and offering a 60-hour power reserve.

2.  Tourbillon & Orbs:  The dragon coils around the iconic double-axis (or occasionally triple-axis) tourbillon—as it spins the 60-second and 2.5-minute rotations. Accompanying this spectacle are:

             A 1-carat, 288-facet Jacob-cut diamond rotating every 30–60 seconds.

             A lacquered magnesium globe also rotating in sync—both orbiting to showcase cosmic motion.

Design & Dimensions

1.  Case:  Crafted from 18K rose gold with sapphire side panes and a domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Typical case measures around 47–50 mm in diameter and 24–25 mm thick, with 30 m water resistance.

2.  Dial & Hands:  The off-center skeletonized dial features hand-engraved Roman numerals filled with black lacquer; complemented by blued Jacob & Co. signature hands.

3.  Strap & Clasp:  Luxuriates in a blue alligator band secured by an 18K rose-gold deployment clasp, matching the elegance of the central sculpture.
